I have the Cannondale System Six with SRAM Rival componants and love them.  No problems at all and its coming up on year and close to 2400 miles on them.  Smooth shifting and easy to use.

I've been using SRAM for years. Never looked back, never going back. I have Force double-taps, and love 'em. It's kind of neat/wierd that you don't have to use the brake levers to shift. All the shifting is done w/ the one "double-tap" shifter.

cooutdoors - 2008-04-16 8:05 PM I've been using SRAM for years.

Mountain stuff, I'm assuming 'cause I don't think they've been making road components for years.

My tri bike is built with the SRAM TT group (Force rear der., rival crank and front der., plus the un-modeled bar-end shifters and brake levers). So far, they perform tremendously, but with the TT group, the shifting, mechanically speaking, is the same with anyother bar-end shifters. The only thing I meiss from my Shimano shifters is that SRAM doesn't operate in friction mode. BUt on the other hand, the shifting has been so precise as to (so far at least) tht I haven't needed to switch to friction.

Yup. Probably should have clarified (although I admit it...my mtn bike now is running XTR). I have the SRAM TT setup on my bike, and really like it.

actually, i am talking road. last year Mongoose came out the bossberg using the rival grupo. i didnt care for the bike and therefore wasnt crazy about the components. Now the Schwinn Peleton Pro has gone to the Rival's for '08. Great riding bike for the money but i have only ridden the '07 with ultegra. i know we wont get a peleton pro in b/c they are hard to move.
