Subject: I Turned 40 Today!

I remember thinking when I was in my mid-20s that I couldn't wait to be 40 because I figured I'd have my s*&% together by then.

Not sure if I do, but picking up this new hobby has helped me get the healthiest I've ever been (except for pesky IT band that is taking its time to heal -- I guess it's an "age thing" and has made me mentally tougher.  I do look forward to finishing a 1/2 IM this summer.

Just celebrated my "decade after 40- yep the bog 5-0- never thought I'd see the day- but 40-50 went by faster than any other 10 did...I can't speak to getting the s$%^ together because ...well I guess because it seem to always be a work in progress...!
