I don't know about that... but I had another pretty bad day eating. Memorial Day Celebration: 3 hamburgers (1 with chs. 2 plain , and all three with only lettuce.) 1 Brawt., Half a 20 coke. and a small slice of chocolate zucchini cake. (it was ok. kind of like carrot cake--spicy). That was just for dinner.

Breakfast-- 1/4 cup of cereal, Kellog's Protein Plus
1/2 cup of 2%

snack-- Handful of almonds, handful of pretzels
32 oz water

Lunch-- 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt (0% fat), sliced strawberries
20 oz water
then...
dinner of course.

By the time I got home I was stuffed, and I wonder if I have a food trigger for headache, migraines? I crashed when I got home, and just woke up with a malingering headache... kind of skipped my kenpo routine, though it's 4 am now, and I'm half tempted to just get it over with. I have some homework to catch up on, so in about an hr, just might do that. Will let you all know.

It's now 6 am, and decided to DO the training. Got to stay true to the X!!! Besides tonight is a rest period, though there's a stretch routine I do on this day as well. Anyhow, see ya'll around.

Well Josh to say the least your schedule is a little different.  Have you tried to figure out what triggers your migraines before?  That might be an idea.

Honestly no. But I've never had a significant occurance around eating food. Perhaps it's something else.

sorry to hear about your migraine josh - they severely suck! btw a dr i saw said that they can be caused/exacerbated by dehydration. she suggested drinking an electrolyte replacement drink.

 

btw peeps in light of a few weeks shocking eating i am back to calorie counting for a week or so till i fly to france for my sister's wedding. just got to be careful to not think a flavoured coffee here and a chocolate bar there are acceptable. good luck to the rest of you

I just added a elliptical to the home gym.....yippeee!!  That thing is killer.  Lets see now I have a Bowflex, Olympic weights, treadmill, exercycle, Ellipitcal and a bike trainer stand.  WOOHOO!!

thanx, it's gone now. Usually, if excedrin doesn't take care of it, I have to jump in the shower to let the warm water flow over my neck. Then, sleeping always helps too.


I don't think I'm dehydrated either. I drink water like a fish. But then again, I wonder if it had anything to do with the salt I was craving???

Oh, and congrats to your sis!

I haven't seen many gains in the "weight-loss" dept. lately, I'm wondering if I should kick it up a notch and do an extra routine 3x /wk. Something cardio-esque... what do you guy's think?

Hi Everyone, have some great news- Munster (my team) won the Heineken Cup on Saturday
As you can imagine the whole of Munster province was like one massive party so I'd say I might skip this Wednesday weight report- don't want to get depressed. A recovery day today and back to work tomorrow.

Josh, If you were near by you could have it.  Also, more workouts doesn't mean more "good" weight loss.  There are rest days for a reason.

Good point, but this whole past wk felt like a rest period. I'm trying to figure out how to get a couple of 5 lb. plates for my dumbells, as the one's I have aren't heavy enough for most of what I do during the training... Besides last night, I did do the yoga routine, but left out the X-Stretch. So I saved an extra 50+ min for sleep.

Comet,  You are absolutely correct I did indeed spell Dreadmill wrong.

Josh,  Look at some garage sales.  There are always people getting rid of unwanted exercise stuff.  I could have picked up a good rack of dumbells (5-75's) and the rack for $200, but I passed....sigh.

I love the treadmills in the winter. And the summer.

Oh, and I was a miserable eater this weekend. We went out for pizza one night, out to a brew pub the next day for lunch, and then spent all of Sunday at an amusement park. I ate ribs for lunch and German sausages for dinner. I ate fries and bread. I ate some of my girls' cake. I drank wine and beer.

I will NOT be making my weight goal this month.




But I had fun.
