Subject: Is a full wetsuit needed?
I have a wetsuit (but not a full) and was wondering if a full is needed for west coast ocean swimming. Specifically the Ralph's half ironman in March.

I have a friend that did a tri in San Diego and he also had a sleeveless wetsuit. He was fine with the water temp.

I think the water temp is in that 59-61 degrees range.

I think if it's cold enough to need a wetsuit then go w/ sleeves. 59-61 is flat frigid to swim in, IMO.
