Subject: I'm sick....but feeling guilty about not training I've been out with a bad cold or something since last Wed. Bad sore throat, cough, extremely tired...
I took off wed, thurs and fri and by Sat was feeling a ton better. Of course I was feeling guilty that I took off two days (Friday is normally my off day ) so of course I went back full force on Sat. and Sun (I'm training for IMWI, my first ) So...by Sunday afternoon I'm feeling like crap again. Today, Monday I'm even worse.
How do people handle this. I try to be patient, but I have to fight the feeling that I'm going to loose everything I've gained. I know this is not rational (but hey, if you are signed up for an IM are you a rational thinking person to begin with? )
