Subject: Speedplay cleat adjustments?

Has anyone who uses Speedplay pedals made any adjustments to the cleat lock-in firmness?

I don't know if there is an adjustment but if there is I haven't touched it since the float range is so broad.  What's your reason for adjusting?  I know at first it felt too loose because of the float range but after the first ride it felt natural.  I honestly will never buy another brand.

The float kind of goes back to one particular position and I'd like to somehow lighten that so that it doesn't do that as much.

Which Speedplay pedals do you have?  On the Zero, there is no centering mechanism.  They rest in whatever position your foot turns to.  You can restrict the range by adjusting the two little allen head screws on the outside of each cleat.

Thanks for that.  Yeah I have the stainless steel zero's.  I think it was actually the position of the cleat as on today's ride they were fine after I adjusted them a little last night.
