I'm afraid my comments in a couple of threads have been insensitive and downright mean. To those I've offended, I'm sorry, and to everyone, I'm sorry for promoting a negative environment. It wasn't my intention, and I think Ron hit it on the head when he said "what's going on?" Ron, being a pretty darn level headed guy, made me take a step back and look at my recent posts a bit more objectively. Those posts aren't who I am, and I hope you can overlook my comments.

Sincerest apologies,

Chris

It was a faux pas and not the end of the world.   I see it as  a lesson learned for all.  The simultatneous anonymity and intimacy afforded by e-mail are not always the best combination for getting to know someone. It's easy to misspeak as well as misread true intentions. We would all do well to think and think again before we write and before we interpret what we have read.

How true. I'm sure all of us have sent an email that we wish we could get back. Posts on public forums are the same. Glad to see folks backing off and taking a second look rather than getting nasty. That makes this place a pretty good place to be.
