Anyone else seen it yet?

As far as movies go, it was a good one.  However, they took several freedoms with the story line that I'm still trying to decide if I like or not.  Anyone else?

Just saw it a few hours ago. I liked it, though I can't say that I could point to the differences between the book and the movie. I did think that the time-frames used in the first vs the second movies had me a bit... don't know the right word. Not confused. Maybe disappointed.

This will probably be a wait-for-DVD movie for us, as I wasn't that impressed with the first Narnia movie. Too much other stuff coming out that I the kids want to see. Ironman this weekend and Indy next.

We saw it yesterday.  I liked the battle scenes, there were more in this movie than the first.  Reepacheep was one of my favorite characters in the books and loved how they portrayed him in the movies.

No real complaints, it was well done.

x2

Same here.  After all of the hoopla I was extremely let down by the first one.  I will not be in any hurry to see the 2nd one.

I loved the movie but it did have some major departures from the book in that... the movie made it appear that Aslan was dormant during the whole entirety of events whereas in the book he was a more present character, that is chapters 10-15. Storming the castle... well it wasn't in the book Professor Cornelius.. his role was not at all like it was in the book And Caspian is supposed to be blond but I like him the way he looked as himself - that change is fine for me. There are a few others, but I like the interpretation of the story and it was done well. I enjoyed both the book and the movies seperately. Now on to the Voyage of the Dawn Treader... another movie, up and coming, featuring the life of Prince Caspian... I can't wait - it should be good as well

Agreed.  Also, the relationship between Peter and Caspian and the relationship between Susan and Caspian were much different than the book.
