Just ordered a pair yesterday....... hope the "redesigned" Solyte is actually cushier, like the reviews say.

Why oh why do we have to have "progress" in running shoe brands/lines. They cooda kept the Cumulus 8's forever and I wouldn't have had a problem.

I bought a pr of Nimbus 8's 2 mos. ago and will be returning those... yikes.. ankle problems reappeared again, and shin problems, foot problems, etc.

Post your experiences...... I will do the same this weekend.

I just got orthotics and I've purchased the Nimbus 10's. I tried on the Cumulus 10's and ran in them for a little bit but the Nimbus were much more comfortable.

It seems that whenever a shoe is redesigned it works for some and not others. It is a hugely individual thing. I haven't tried the 10's, but I'm stocking up on the 9's while they are heavily discounted.

Only have 1 short 5k jog on these so far, so not enough data available yet, lol. Initial impressions are that these have MUCH more cushioning than the Nimbus 8's had. Crossing fingers......

I wore the same model Asics for 4 years until the Tuesday before the mini-marathon.  I replaced my asics two weeks before that and COULD NOT get comfortable in them.  I finally took them back and told them the three places the shoes were hurting me and the store manager smiled and explained that those are the three changes they made to this latest update!

I am now the happy owner of two pair of Saucony and they feel GREAT!

On the starting line of the mini there was a lady standing there wearing the same saucony shoes as I have and she said the exact same thing happened to her.  WHY do they change stuff and not put a warning label on the shoes?  I thought I was imagining the discomfort because they were great for four years!

I tried the new ones on at my LRS and they are much cushier. I really liked the areas that they added the softness. They felt to be much softer in the forefoot than the others and felt great. My wife says I can't have them until I my other ones ware out. So I guess I need to start running more.

Hope you like them.
