Has anyone out there had any luck finding a saddle that takes pressure off the Pudendal nerve? I have just tested a Terry Butterfly saddle and I am testing a Aliante fizik this week. Help PLEASE or I may have to trade my road bike in for a recumbent.

many posts about this. lots of great suggestions. Perhaps do a BT search for 'saddles' and you may come up w/ something. Seems that lots of women like the butterfly and guys as well. I just got a fuji saddle that has a 'cut out' in it and it is SO great!!! Good luck on finding a new saddle, dont throw out the bike..try some different saddles...most LBS will let you try them first.

I looked at some of the old posts and they are very helpful. It seems that I may have some serious nerve stuff going on and I will see a specialist soon. The pain comes and goes but when it comes, I am in a constant state of discomfort, on or off the bike. I don't want to give up riding but I will do so if I cannot find a saddle or a treatment to end the discomfort. I imagine I am not alone in this boat. The Aliante saddle did not work for me, I guess that hole in the saddle really does do something. Maybe a split saddle will, I hope.
