I know it's fiction, but if real names and places are going to be depicted (or references made), they can at least be somewhat accurate, especially if it's a movie in which the main character is an archeologist/professor.

Having just read "Armageddon" by Uris, I am amused by the comment by Perov that says, "Together with America we defeated the Nazis."  And then tried to strong arm the U.S. out of Berlin.  heh.
