Champion  6627      Rochester Hills, Michigan Gold member |  Subject: Bored in Class...OK, I'm in financial strategies course taught by a pointy head prof that's never had a job other than teaching. I'm torn between walking out and torturing myself publicly until he stops. But instead, I thought I'd draw on my BT breatheren to develop my own 'strategies' to make it through class. Anyone got good ideas on how to kill 3 1/2 hours of cost of capital...blah blah....EVA...blah blah blah....tender...share offer repurchase...blah blah? Let me start by taking the obvious ones out of play...BT Chat, BT forums, BT PM. Been there, got the stars... Rick |

| Regular 69 Daytona Beach | Subject: RE: Bored in Class... Strap on your HRM before class. When the class gets totally boring, see if your heartrate is also dropping. To have more fun, see how long it takes you to raise your pulse 5 bpm. Then try to lower it 5 bpm. Record these times in your training log as "cardiac manipulation training." Before long the class will over. Note: if called on to answer a question, just give him your current heartrate. I sure it will be spiking by that time. |

There are so many interesting courses one can take; why waste time on something you don't particularly like???? I have no desire to be flippant but if it is a required credit course, then perhaps you should review your reason for having selected this particular Major. |
