Veteran  509  Oak Park, IL |  Subject: greetings from a chicago newbie!!I have been lurking for a few weeks now and thought it was time I finally spoke up. This season will be my first triathlon season. In fact, I am new to athletics, in general. I began running last spring and seem to have caught some bug that has sparked me to train for my first triathlon. So far, I am signed up to compete in the Reebok Tri in Naperville (sprint) and the sprint distance of the Chicago tri. Thanks for the great advice and motivation I have already received and look forward to hearing more!!! |

This site has lots to offer. Also, if you haven't heard about them... they do have indoor tri's if you feel the need to give transitions or just get the feel for the races. 10min swim, 20 min bike, 15 min on the track or treadmill... okay, welcome again and hope to catch up with you some time, milly |

( I've since relocated to the NW suburbs though ). Missed the Wright Run this year, but planning on that this fall I think. 5k and 10k race through Oak Park, passing by many of the Frank Lloyd Wright houses in the village.
