Tri suit for Clydesdale?

 8 |  Subject: Tri suit for Clydesdale?I 'm a newbie!! I am registered for my first sprint tri on June 28th, Lake Padden in Bellingham WA. I need some advice about what type of suit to get. I was originally thinking that I would like a suit rather than a short and top combo. Are the suits ok to swim in or any other advice? I am 5' 10" and 220. Thanks to any and all who might be able offer there expertise. |

Member 47 MS | Subject: RE: Tri suit for Clydesdale? I debated the same issues and decided to go with the suit. I got the 2XU, it was the most true to size for me that I could find. At 6'5" and 280 lbs it was tough to find one that was large enough. Most would have a max chest of 46 for 2xl, I need a 48-50. And I really liked the suit for the swim, very comfortable and very little drag. Happy hunting. |

Expert 773 Alexandria, NH | Subject: RE: Tri suit for Clydesdale? Hey there- Clyde 5-8 260 51 chest and I have a zoot and a louis garneau both which fit fine. The Garneau looks better but it also cost more. Craft and Pearl Izumi run small so avoid those. It's all about comfort and I think the suit is far superior to the two piece. |
