Subject: Boy's First Tri - Tri The Rock
This was an awesome event put on by Castle Rock recreation, they had hundreds of kids 4-14 years old. Very well managed. He can't wait for his next, Boulder Kids this August.

And yes, as you can see, a poor kid got a mech on the bike and got outside assistance, I tried to get them DQ'd.

Distances for the 5-6 year olds were 1 length, 1k bike, 600 yard run.

Great pictures...looks like he was having a fun time!  Nice running form on your son.

My 8 yr old daughter has expressed interest in doing a kids tri but it appears that the Kids Fall Frenzy was cancelled again this year.  Maybe we'll make the drive to Boulder in August...
