Subject: "Dumb" question about %carbs/fat/protien
Hopefully an easy question:

When you see something is 40% carb / 30% fat / 30% protein (or whatever)....

Is that % measured in % calories, or % of grams?

Seems like since the calorie density of the three things are different, this would matter, but I've never been quite sure which it is...

There are 4 calories per gram for carbs and proteins.

Fats have 9 calories per gram.

Yeah, me too. That's what I've always used as a guide, % of caloric intake.
