New 2 MI moved back up from FL

Welcome back.  I live in Indiana, but work in Benton Harbor.  Lots of races on this side  (Johan's, Steelhead, Firecracker, Niles, Grand Haven...).  I OWS after work in Lake Michigan at Silver Beach in St. Joe.  I ride all over Berrien county (Buchanan, Berrien Springs, Dowagiac....)

Welcome back to MI. You said "Western MI" in your post --whereabouts in West MI are you? There are a couple of us, that I know of on here that post, and we are in the GR area. Looks like MBmoran2 has Southwestern MI covered for you.

Saw a group riding today in Texas township. Not sure spped or where they were going. Looked like a nice size ride.

I'm planning on firecracker 6 July, 3rivers aug 16th (Oly), Prairie View Triathlon Aug 31, GR Marathon Oct 19th, Disney Marathon Jan 9th. I figure this year is training and get to know the local races. Any comments on what I'm looking at? Achiles isn't going to be ready for steelhead.

I did the Prairie View sprint last year and planning on the OLY in 2008. If my memory serves, the bike route is pancake flat; run route is a mixture of a trail run, run along road, open fields. Generally a nice race.

There are a couple of Kzoo-based tri teams and clubs I think. You might want to check them out.
