Subject: Gift package for IM race
Have someone that I work with racing in IM CDA. Beyond the good lucks and constant questions of how they were feeling, I started to think about a race package of a couple small items I could give them to wish them the best of luck. I quickly imagined what I would want in a box with some race or non-race items.

What would all the triathletes on BT want in a box(say 4-5 items) from friends or family when they do a big race. I'll go ahead and start:

Body Glide(Big Stick)
Box of Gu
Camera
6 pack of favorite beer

How about a new issue of triathlete magazine or their favorite magazine that they could read the night before when they are trying to relax.

Seconded!  A massage is the best remedy after an IM or even half-IM to make the athlete start to feel 'human' again.  I love massage treatments!

Being a girl... I would like a gift for after the race as I've probably taken care of all my must-have's for the race... A GC for a massage and pedicure/manicure would be heavenly.

Along with a babysitter (if needed) so massage WILL happen before a year is up
