Subject: HIM and Marathon 2 weeks apart?
I just signed up for the Hartford marathon today and I just realized it is only 2 weeks after the HIM i wanted to do in September. I have done 1 marathon before and 4 HIMs.... I want to do well in both. Do you think that is too close together. I could change the HIM race and push it up by 2/4 weeks.....

I'm doing this as well. It was the smartest season lay out...I'm racing the 1/2 balls to the wall. The marathon I plan on running :45 sec per mile slower than what Mcmillian says I can do....

This will get a good solid run in and shouldn't take as long to recover. Trying to get under 3:30 in October so the August Mary will be a tune up.
