ok, I know I am asking for trouble even looking around the corner at the CT thread. My ego will be bruised just for looking at the CT greatness (sarcasim implied(.

I was looking quickly at the Cranberry thread for this year and noticed a huge lack of CT people from years past. From what I can see, it looks like the old guard has grown tired of the short course scene this year and is going long, very long. IMLP seems to be the race of choice, at least from the hard core, smack talking crowd that helped seperate state thread florish.

With that said ( and yes I am trying to get thing started for the annual BT showdown),  I was wondering if CT was going to be represented at Cranberry this year. BTW, all veterains welcome to add to the smack, or just gereral banter of prerace activites. Also, I would like to extend an invite to all BTers to jockstap if there poor withered bodies have not recovered from IMLP, and they just want to sit and boast of there individual greatness with us!

Ok, I am ready to take my beating now

You're lucky, all the tonque lashing folks are out of town this weekend so you maybe safe

Since I haven't swam since the last cranberry race, I am out.  Not to mention I hate Oly's...the swim is too long compared to the other events so I don't have enough time catch-up.  I think I will stick with HIM's in the future.

Too far. I'm not doing it this year, especially if I don't get to race Mark Plus there is an Olympic that weekend, no exaggeration, 1 block from my house.

Not for me this year.  My first swim since last August will be in about 2 weeks and given the long road back from my rotator cuff tear  and my fear of reinjury I'm having a hard time commiting to any tris this year.

Well, I'm one of the CTBTers doing IMLP this year, so not likely I'll do C-Berry… Also, I think it will conflict with delivering my son to his first year of college in VT. Next year I'll be lookin' to get into a little "smack down" action tho…

It dose not look like CT will have much of a following this year at Cranberry. If you are going the Ma thread has a dinner thread going for Sat night.

I also have a room to share if there are any gents wishing to be closer to the race on Sunday moring. PM me if you are interested.
