Subject: Floor pump that fits HED 3 wheels

A quick search didn't show anything where this had been discussed for HED 3 and Disk wheels, so I thought I'd post this.  In addition to being the best floor pump I've ever owned, this one has a head that fits my HED 3 wheels.  I am so tired of having to pump one handed and hold the crack pipe on the valve stem.  Now I don't have to.  It is called the SmartHead and it is on my Joe Blow Pro floor pump.

If you talk to Gary of TLC Bikes(the mechanic on the DSU Wed night rides) he'll put together a Zefal Husky pump with a custom head that does the trick pretty well. You just have to get shorter stems(the 36mm variety) for it to work.

That's the one I've been using for a couple years now.  Before that getting my HED3 pumped up required four arms/hands and was quite the adventure.

Sounds promising. I can actually manage with my Specialized pump w/crack pipe, but getting past 80 psi is almost as much work as the ride that follows.

So price check time, I found it for $50.95 at ebikestop.com. Anyone see a better deal anywhere?

36mm as John said and as recommended to me by the tech support folks at HED.

I hate it when people say crap like this, mainly because the second I read it I realize that there was an obvious answer I've been forgetting all along.
