Subject: Hilton Head SC Suntrust Sprint
April 23 this year. Anybody done this one? Can you tell me what to expect of the water temp? I saw one race report on it here. Since it's my first tri, would be interested to hear any feedback on previous ones.

Hi Madeye:

I did this one last spring, it was my first Tri ever.  The water temp was in the low 70's, all of us who didn't have wetsuits were very comfortable out there.  The water was a little choppy but then again it is the Atlantic.

The bike and run course is very flat and very fast.

It's a very well organized and fun Triathlon.

Thanks for the info! Very good to know about water temp. The flat is part of why I picked it as my first race...I'm not up to hills yet.
