Completed my first tri yesterday- the San Bernardino Rotary Club Tinman sprint at Cal State San Bernardino. The legs are run in reverse order (run-bike-swim) which was probably the best way to do it, given the 90+ degree heat. It kicked my butt, but I think I'm officially hooked. Check out my race report!

Oh, and never again will I refer to a sprint as "just" a sprint. Nor will I permit anyone else to.

Love it.  They're fun aren't they?  In that pain is blissful kind of way.

Congrats!

Thanks! Having the swim leg last (and in a pool, and after a nasty-hot bike/run) is a good incentive to finish fast. Think of all the sweaty feet that have been kicking the water you're swimming in!

Congratulations. Did you get a cool T-shirt with the wizard of oz characters that shows them talking to the tin man saying "are you sure he's not made of iron?"
