Subject: Check out my new bike
As I didn't have a lot of money to spend on a bike (<$500), I had to look used. I have been searching Ebay and online bike classifieds for the past few weeks. I had been outbid on quite a few bikes here lately and I was losing hope of finding an OK beginers bike for the price that I wanted to spend.

When this deal came up I couldn't resist it.

That is an excellent deal !  The aluminum frame is fine; you'll love the stiffness of aluminum when you start doing hills.  The Tiagra components are very good and you even got clipless pedals with it.  The only downside would be the saddle, which seems suspect, and the geometry, which is a little too relaxed (for my taste), but you bought yourself an excellent starter bike.  Enjoy your new bike ... :-)
