So I'm sure all the northeastern folks here are sick of snow, but down here in DC we're getting our first snowstorm. That means I need to go running! It makes me feel like a kid again, running in relatively deep snow. Who's with me?

I LOVE running in the snow! It's so pretty, and so much fun! Especially when it's fresh snow, and you get to be the first person to make tracks in it. I love that.

Not when it's windy, though!

I like running in the snow as well , but these days here in Montreal were freezing -20
to -40 for the past week , we dont event think about running with that temperature, its not human. So we run inside , can t beat running through a snow storm with a -8 . Its wild.

Wish we had 10 inches but the forcasters blew it, only got 4 or so. By the time I got out this afternoon, not too many fresh tracks to be made, but still had a good time.

well, you knew I wasn't about to be out running anyhow.  Now Glen, that's another story.  And, oh darn!  I can't help with the driveway either!

No snow here in NC. However, after my morning run I noticed the water drops from the rain would not shake off my keys. The drops were now ice. By the time I got home the steps into my house were already covered with a layer of ice. Ya just gotta love it.

Maybe I will try it tomorrow, but I am afraid that my feet will get soaked and I don't think that would be fun.

I'd take you up on your offer but I'm stuck down in DC. I remember one of my favorite all-time runs was a 4-mile trail run with 18 inches of fresh unbroken snow. Not sure I could do that now but I'd love to try. I think it's the wind that might get me (80 mph on the Cape!?)
