Love the bulldog!

Love the boxer, the australian shepard, and the border collie.

And I heart the Brittany.

The fru fru dogs are ok I guess.

I was impressed with how well trained the dogs were during musical chairs. My dog would have sat on command but would not have gotten on the little platform.

Labs are the best. I've had a collie a golden and been "auntie" to various others. My girl, KC, is the best dog I have ever had. Plus, she is freakin' smart! (http://kvtri.blogspot.com/2008/06/kc-wonder-dog.html).

Haven't seen it, but I don't like fru-fru dogs - I like a substantial DOG.

Exactly!! One lady had hers dressed in clothes and it someone mentioned it was 90 degrees. WTF?

I did feel sorry for the Jack Russell having to sleep out in the dog house. But at least he had air conditioning.

Yeah, on my run the other day, I saw someone with some fluffy little thing wearing a SWEATER! In JULY, in Washington DC! Idiots. I don't care how cute they think it looks - I felt sorry for the little guy.

We're talking about the TV show that was on last night on CBS, not dogs in general.

'Cause if we were talking about dogs in general, everyone knows Springer Spaniels are the best!

If they won't fetch in an icy lake, why bother having 'em? Chessies are GREAT watchdogs!

if I could post a picture, I would, but I HEART my border collie/husky mix. He's just the biggest, smartest, gentlest sweetheart....he was very sick last week, and I was distraught, but he's back to himself. He'll be 10 in August, and I pray for 10 more years!

Aussies are too smart for their own good   but yes, they rock.   and so do  labs/goldens.  I'll have to check out that show!

My old buddy He died in June 2 years ago. Shepherd/lab mix. Best dog ever.

I heart my adopted labbie - he's always got that "someone please rescue me" look to him around my son.

Hmm, maybe I have that look too?

I thought this thread was going to be about my boys (see my avatar). I mean, who else besides retreivers would swim with me one day then run the next. I still can't get them on the bike with me, though.

A note about fru fru dogs ~ there are some badass little dogs and some exceptionally fru fru big dogs. Do us all a favor and don't dress up your dog like a barbie doll. I put on so much a bandana on my lab and he looks at me like 'really Karen, is this necesessary?'

LOL!!!!

I have a picture of my old dog dressed in a pink feather boa and a tiara - or rather, he was lying on the steps and I put them on him and he did not move. It's pretty funny. He was a big dog too, as you can see from the pics I posted, and a rather "masculine" looking dog. Not so much with the boa  We didn't normally put things on him, he just made an easy target at that moment.

World's Best Dogs

Hi! My name is Kensey. I have a great dog named Tucker. He's a Jack Russell Terrier. He'll be two on December 21st. Tucker is always full of energy and he is so cute! He thinks he's a German shepered! If you come near him and he don't know you he'll growl at you, even if you hug or give high fives he thinks your hearting me or my mom. Dogs are a big responsibility! All I wanted was a dog but when I got one my mom usually takes him out because he dosen't listen to me.Don't get a dog if you don't want to take it out in summer and winter!
