Hello everyone I am scotty I am retired form the Navy and did many triathlons while in the service. I however was paralyzed on active duty and I am just now getting back into it.  THings are a little different, I have 14 inch rods in my back and am paralyzed from the chest down. Needles to say I have no core and have to swim side stroke. I have been bikeing for a couple years in my hand cycle and now got a new racing chair to compete with.  Just to give you an idea Im around 18 mph on the bick ave and 5:30 mile in the push/racing chair for the run. hopefully sunday I can have my times around 1hr 30 min  I just know that my transition will take a bit of time.....

Thank you for your service, Scotty.

Welcome to BT and back to triathlon!  BT's a great resource and a very supportive community.  Congratulations on your training, looks like you've definitely been able to adapt and overcome to get back to the sport.  Have a great race on Sunday!
