Subject: NOW what do I do?? (overthinking things again...) Okay, so I had this grand Friel-based plan in place to get me to my first race...
I"m through Base 1, and on the peak week for Base 2, (having hit 100% of target training for weeks 1 & 2, thankyouverymuch! ) and this business trip totally throws me off my game.
Now I'm sitting in my "rest" week, having RESTED during my "peak" week for this period. ???????
I'm assuming the thing to do is extend Base 3 to FIVE weeks, making this week the extra "first" week of Base 3, with about the same training plan as the "real" week 1 of Base 3.
Or should I "backtrack" and do my Base 2 Week 3 week this week, and roll right in to Base 3?
Or should I do Base 2 week 3, then rest *another* week, then shorten Base 3???
Or should I re-schedule the entire plan from here out and shorten some other phase to make up for this unscheduled week off???
OR WHAT!!!!?????!!!!!
I swear, the more I watch "Monk", the more I wonder if I should go see a shrink... :- )
