Post foot ligament surgery

On 10 Jan I had a ligament in my right foot repaired. The docor cut it in half, overlapped it onto itself, and then re-attached it. If anyone has ever had this and can give some insight on some good forms of therapy, it would be greatly appreciated. I am thirsty for a good run, actually being able to walk would be nice.
