Subject: Changing cassette help

I swapped my training wheel cassette onto my Zipps for Ironman Sunday. Now I can't get my other cassette to lock on my training wheel and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Trying to put on a 12-27 on, took off 11-28 Sram.

I tried it with the ring on first and not. Neither option worked as I can't get it to catch so I can tighten it.

Any suggestions? I don't want to take to the bike shop.

If it can wait until Friday, I can do it at LP ..... otherwise there might be something catching it not allowing it to seat all the way???

All the spacers have to be aligned properly on the hub for it to fit correctly. Sometimes it's like a Rubic's cube trying to get everything in place, especially if you've disrupted the order and/or alignment.

I'll try for the fourth time but if not I'll bring it along and get our cycling guru's help.

I'm trying to learn and do more stuff on my own...I'm trying....

Thanks guys....over the winter I plan to take a bike repair class...
