That's probably the first time anyone's ever accused this group of that.

Usually it goes the other way.

What..I don't get it..

Not sure "batty" is the word for me, but I have noticed that I have no patience.  a few weeks ago on my ride I'm waiting at a traffic light, the car in front of me does not go when the light turns green and I yell "move it a-hole!".

I've been getting moody and sullen with vast emotional swings.

Taper should be a fun, fun time.

Entering 3 weeks of the highest training volume yet.  I am also having mood swings and my temper (am a red head) has been short.  I am not dealing well with slow, stupid people these days.  Don't they understand I they are wasting my time to train!?!?  Yes, I think I may be loosing my mind!  Hungery & tired!

Hey! that was me! I was napping after a long run!!!!!!

Actually.... leaving the gym the other night, I got behind a guy that sat a Yield sign for literally 2 minutes picking his nose....yes picking his nose and no one or thing to yield to. I looked around thinking that I am obviously missing a long train coming through....and finally hit my horn and yeld out the window to "$h!t or get off the pot"... He just looked in the mirror and took off. He of course waited until I got on the entrance ramp (he did not), before rolling his window down and giving me the finger. Probably just show me what he found while at the yield sign. I am kind of glad that I had a long workout that night... since I was too tired to take my car over the grass divider towards him.. lol.. I just waved back and turned up the AC...

Yup... the next few weeks are going to be fun..

m-mcclain - 2008-07-19 5:57 PM Well thanks to all day thunderstorms I missed my long ride and now have to make it up tomorrow....argh

You know it can rain some or all day and night for your Ironman Ride in the rain training makes it mentally easier come rainy race day. Funny thing for me racing in horrible weather made me focus on the right now and not what laid ahead..descending 10K in rain and not being able to see was intersting.

You guys are all in the thick of the fun before your IM. 6 weeks out I was so tired...and wondering if it would ever come and then in a blink of an eye you are at the starting line with 2400 of your best friends, and your magical day begins. Enjoy these next 6 weeks..it is an amazing journey.
