I got to swim with Olympian Triathletes!

First of all i live in South Korea where most people dont know what a tri bike or a triathlon is. The pool i swim is one of two in the area. It is fantastic;50m long 12 lanes wide and i am usually one of a few people in it, sometimes the only one. I often wonder how there is such a great facility here that no one uses.

so anyways i head out on deck for my swim yesterday and there were some really fit tall foreigners. Also on deck there were several coaches wearing beijing olympic triathlon: team Great Brittain shirts. In the water were several more athletes, some wearing national team jerseys. I couldnt tell exactly the names on the jerseys. I didnt want to stare at them. Also i didnt want to bother the coaches who were diligently taking splits. I was fortunate enough to swim with a pair of the women(korean athletes), who were faster than me and i am no slouch in the water. I was first overall on the swim at my last iron distance triathlon.

I am hoping i can catch them when they arent so busy tomorrow at the pool and maybe have a few words!
