good TV channel for watching the Olympics

NBC is the network mainly in charge of the coverage so if you go to http://www.nbcolympics.com/ and click on local coverage, you will be redirected to your local area channel covering the games. Usually the local site will have a list of all sports on the left-hand side that you can click on to see when each particular sport is being televised.

Just an FYI: NBC network owns several channels so other channels that will carry the games will include USA, MSNBC, etc. Here's a good link that explains what will be on each channel and when.
