Subject: Rec Plex Fall tri
Who else is doing it? This will be my 2nd tri. I did the JCC indoor sprint in feb.

Not sure if I'll do it or not. We'll see how things are on the injury front!

They put on a nice race at the RecPlex though.  You'll definitely have fun and get challenged at the same time.

Are you local to STL?

Yeah I'm in St. Charles. Last year I went to cheer on Marua9900 at the rec plex and was bitten by the tri bug.

If it's like the spring race, they will start you by order of registration.  So hint hint register early.  Also you may want to get to transition ahead of time, the racks fill up fairly quickly.

Great race though, awesome swim in the 50m pool

I'm in.  I've heard positive things about it.  Looking forward to a relatively flat course after the hills of Innsbrook.

The bulk of the bike is in the river bottoms, the only hills on the bike are the highway overpasses going over 70.  Watch out for train stoppages(yeah I got stopped for 2-3 minutes)

The run has a few gentle hills..

 The water is mostly flat
