Subject: Tri Shoes for wide feet
Any recommendations? I wear a 13 either EE or EEEE depending on the shoe. I am currently in a pair of size 48 lake road shoes. I ordered a pair of Lake CX210s this morning in 48 wide ($110) this morning, but they are apparently out of stock until next year

I would like to try to stay under 150 if at all possible

I tried numerous tri shoes as I have wide feet too.  I gave up as the only wide ones I could find were way beyond my budget. 

I ended up just getting a Shimano road shoes that surprised me when I put them on.  It was the 1st tri or road shoe that was wide enough without getting a EE or EEEE.  It is a SH-R085 and they were about $100.

Shimano makes road and mountain bike shoes in wide widths. I buy mens as they fit me better and are wider. I wear them for tris HIM or IM, and for most of my training.I'm trying cycle cross this fall and found wide Shimano shoes only in my size at 50% off at Nashbar.I have tri shoes I use to race sprints or olys but don't like them much.I'd love to get tri shoes that fit well and run wide.

I have wide feet, and my Louis Garneau Tri Air 2 fit pretty well. Well enough to use them the past year at least.

Try the Sidi "Mega" models. Occasionally they're on great sales (I know Performance used to discount them heavily). Also take a look at Diadora -- they run pretty wide as well.

X2 on the Sidi "Mega" models. I am a chick, but have wide feet.  I wear the mens Zeta Mega road shoes. LOVE THEM.
