Comments: Felt like I was holding back. I started with an easy pace, and never felt uncomfortable. I did push towards the last 4 miles and did some good mile splits What would you do differently?: I was unsure after biking on Saturday how my legs would feel. I was cautious because of that. I could have gone out harder, but this was actually my 2nd best 1/2 marathon time ever, so, I am pleased with the performance Post race
Warm down: EZ jog, stretching, took in fluid/food right away. Did cold/hot therapy in pool/hot tub as soon as I got home. Finished with an Endurox R4 Recovery Drink. What limited your ability to perform faster: My cautious approach to the run, after a Saturday bike ride that was pretty aggressive. Headwind on the return section of the course limited ability to really run fast. Event comments: This is by far most favorite 1/2 marathon course. I love the flat course, and it is Super Bowl Sunday.
