Subject: Escape From Alcatraz
I have just found out that I won a spot in this years Escape From Alcatraz. Has anyone out there done this race before? I am SO excited!!! Obviously, I am most concerned about the swim. I have a sleeveless wetsuit and am wondering if anyone uses these for this race (water temp around 55 degrees) or if you need a full suit. I have purchased a squid lid to help keep the head warm. I don't want to buy another suit for one race. Does anyone know...are there places where you can rent suits? Any advice or experiences anyone can share will be appreciated.

Im racing it this year also, I too have a short sleeve suit, Im thinking about buying the new Orca suit. Ill see you there.
