Great Day!

I did it, I really did it.  I completed my first Timberman Sprint, 1/3 mile swim, 15 bike, 3.1 run.  Not only did I do better than I hoped for (hoping for a time of under 1:50, I am old, 57) and I came in at  1:39:30.  I was 3rd in my AG!  But the best part of the day, in my age group was Andy Potts' mother!  We met while setting up in transition and let me tell you she is a great lady!  I bet you can guess who was number 1 in my AG, yes she was, Congratulations to Hattie Potts.  Both of us couldn't find our names on the result sheet so we said good bye and left without knowing where we placed, boo hoo, no pictures on the podium.  Anyway,  Andy is running today in the OLY Timberman.  I am volunteering on the run course so I plan on seeing him come in first.  I have to go now, but just thank you to all who supported and posted great advise for me during my training!  Will report more later, lots of fun stories to share.
