Subject: Beach to Battleship Peeps - How is the training going?

Less than 10 weeks to go everyone!! I've seen threads for IMFL and figured this one needed to get going.

I'm 2 weeks out from IMKY and am starting to taper (although my training hrs are going up, go figure ) but will ramp the mileage back up for B2B. I'm very excited about the race and the single loop bike course with virtually NO HILLS!!! It will be a treat after IMKY!

How is the training going everyone?

Pretty good. Compared to my run up for IMFL 2 years ago, I'm light years ahead.

Now, if I can just keep these stoopid injuries at bay...

Any relay teams need a biker, for example, if your biker has backed out?

Back in Jan before the race closed out, I had the opportunity to be a biker for a relay, but decided against it because thought that training for a 112 bike ride would interfere with my other goals for this season. But, I've already met my primary goal this season, so my "A" race really means nothing to me now. Riding the bike leg of B2B would be awesome. I'm only interested in riding the full iron distance, not the half.

I'm an awesome biker!
