I just fell in love with my wet suit. Ya, I know there are folks who don't like them. Great. I love it and now, I want to wear something even if wet suits are not allowed in my race. Is there anything that approximates the buoyancy of a wet suit that is legal?

I thought there were some bajillion dollar swim suits that were somewhat buoyant but legal even when wetsuits aren't.

There are skin suits.  They cost about $200 and technically are neutral buoyancy.  That's what you see people wear when it's not wetsuit legal.

Maybe you can ask Michael Phelps for one of his LZR suits?

If it's buoyant, it's illegal.
