Subject: Bike-fit /tune-up worth $100? Yep!!!

I took 13.5 minutes off of my 22 mile loop by getting fit properly and getting a tune-up.  Felt like I was flying today.  The difference was amazing, especially on hills.  Even though my gearing was not much different, the energy expended and speed achieved was MUCH different.  YAYY!!!

thats a pretty big improvement, nice job i had a similar tune up and fitting and noticed i increased speed just a tad but it was noticable

It's been two weeks since the last time I did the same loop.  Last time I did it it I averaged 12.82 mph and yesterday I averaged 14.73 mph.  Things that changed: Bike fit; tune-up (which also included filling my notoriously underfilled tires), and I've been doing a lot of trainer sessions due to iffy weather here in NJ.  I think the trainer sessions helped me get my mind right for keeping my cadence up, but the bike was noticably smoother and just felt "fast."  When I spun in low gears it felt like I was actually going somewhere, rather than just thinking "please let me get up this hill."

 With the weather here, I'll be luck to get off the trainer this week.  Congrats on the improvements.

Nice improvement!  I definitely saw an improvement (although I'm not sure if it was that much) after my bike fit.  I think they are well worth the money.
