I miss the commentary too but my husband and daughter appreciated the silence...they are watching Transformers on HBO. What a night---triathlon and transformers! I don't know if I agree with all the comments about ITU racing not being a race at all. I would imagine, having never raced such a race, the tactics, strategy, and focus it takes to maintain position in the pack is not as easy as they make it look. Anyone out there a former crit racer that could comment? I, myself, prefer to be all by my lonesome, but I don't think we can discredit what these guys and gals are doing as "not triathlon". Just my $.02 |
