Subject: wetsuit in a swimming pool?

Can i use my wetsuit in the swimming pool? I didn't think you could, but someone told me you can...is this true?

"can you"? Sure. Why not. You will get some funny looks and you probably dont want to swim a very long time, as you will get a little heated up swimming in an 80 degree pool with a wetsuit. But if its your only chance to try out a new wetsuit, go for it. Just make sure to rinse it well afterwards and get the chlorine off.

I agree you can, BUT you will overheat unbelievably quickly, and the chlorine isn't good for the neoprene, even if you wash it right away. If you're doing it to test a new wetsuit because it's the only place you have to test it, that's one thing; but if you are going to do a full workout with it to help with the workout, I'm not so sure about that.
