Anyone tried these?
My local running store informed me they are going to stop carrying Clif Shot Bloks - something about a difficult time with the distributor. They said to try the Sharkies and let them know what I think. I picked up a few packs, but haven't tasted them yet - probably will this weekend.

Ingredients and nutritional values seem nearly identical.

Yup...I love Sharkies! I also like Luna Moons, too...especially the watermelon flavor. I pretty much like all of those "gummy-type" energy foods.

Haven't tried the Sharkies but if you don't end up liking them you can get the Shot Bloks from REI both in store and online.  They're on sale now through Monday for Labor Day.

Love'm! They're a cross between Sour Patch Kids and and Shot Blocks (but they taste better than Shot Blocks). Target has them for .99 a pack.

Whoa, thanks for the tip! I just paid $1.95/pack minus my 20% tri club discount at the running store. And I'll have my bf pick some Shot Bloks up at REI this weekend, he was stopping by there anyway - thanks for that reminder, too!

i like them...they are not as easy to handle while on the bike as shot bloks, but they are cheaper and seem to work just as well. Like another poster said, Target carries them.

I've tried all three (Bloks, Sharkies, Moons) and like the Bloks best, though they are all ok. The other two are smaller and require more fiddling around to get equal quantities, mostly a pain on the bike.

I'm also partial to the margarita flavor Bloks since I sweat like crazy and they have 3x the sodium.
