Drove down from Melbourne. Stayed in Geelong with family.
Event warmup:

Registered on Saturday afternoon. Rode over the bike course. Swim leg was cancelled due to pollution warning.

Really enjoyed he bike leg...first time on new bike. It's about the only time on the course where i have opportunity to pass others :-). Decided to go reasonably hard (for me).

Transition time were added onto bike leg (no sep. transition times). This time was the time on my cycle computer.

Was hoping to do under 6min/km. Uphill on way back was a slowing factor. Immediate goal is to get down into mid 5.30s
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder.

Warm down:

Stretch. 10-min free massage (so could have stayed there for a while longer).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Only my second tri and only really been training for 8 weeks. Speed will come, but having a blast do the races.

Event comments:

Hanging out for Elwood on 13 March (hoping the bay is clear for swimming).
