Subject: Pedals and Shoes

I moved across country and just found my old cycling shoes. Actual cycling shoes. But I can't find the clip in thingies.

Would I be able to buy them seperately? I have the brand that starts sch (I don't feel like getting up after biking 21 miles and cleaning for an hour).

I think you may be describing Shimano pedals... At least I think...

You may be describing two items when you refer to the "clip in thingies". One may be the cleat that is bolted to the bottom of the shoe. You can buy those at the bike shop for about $20 give or take.

You may also be describing the entire pedal, which would have (rather obviously) gone on the bike- not on your shoe- until you clip in of course.

The pedals you can buy seperately too and they come with the cleats that are intended to bolt to the bottom of your shoes.

In any case, if you take what you have to the local bike shop and show them I wager they will be able to assist you and get you all set up.

Best of luck!

I never had pedals as I only used them for indoor cycling.

But I think you are correct. I'm talking about the part that bolts to the bottom of the shoe. Great. Now all I need is pedals and those. Whoo!

If they were for indoor spin classes, chances are they are Shimano SPD cleats, which would fit the Shimano SPD pedals.

Tom, got it right as usual.
