Good morning all,

I'm looking to do a 6-8 mile run today. Hopefully some of the new snow on the main roads will melt enough to go outside, otherwise I'll be spending more quality time with my treadmill...

Happy training!

Rob

Taking it easy today, for I race tomorrow! Doing a push hands seminar at my Wu-Shu school with Master Nick Gracenin as the instructor (my teacher's teacher AND Inside Kung Fu Magazine's most recent Man of the Year). It should be a blast! 2 hours of learning how to shove people off balance Jia Yo!

Subject: RE: Saturday February 12 - Running the French Quarter
I just finished a great run. I am in New Orleans and I took a route that takes me throughout the entire French Quarter. It's about 6.5 miles long and a lot of fun. I saw some very interesting architecture especially through the more quite northern section of the QUarter and of course from Bourbon Street on through Royal Street and all the way down to Decatur I absorbed the traditional sights and sounds that you expect in this party town - street minstrels, art shows, performers. I wouldn't want to run it every day but it is a great change from the quiet NH back roads I am used to. I recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the big easy. (Of course you should probably do this run in the morning - not at night.)
