Subject: Taper before in season training start? I've been doinf preseason training for a few months and am now only 3 weeks from starting my IM training plan. I've had a big range of volumes from easy weeks to "big" weeks which are around that of my first few weeks training plan. So I want to make sure now I'm rested, take advantage of the training I've donw, and am ready for when the plan starts. I was thingking of having a couple of easier weeks and taking almost a whole week off to get away from the sport and make sure I'm fresh physically and mentally. Any suggestions from other BTers? Thanks
