Subject: IMLP and IMWI registration

Based on the experience of IMLP'ers (or 2007 IMMOO'ers), what time do you think you have to be in the registration line by to make sure you get a slot in next year's race? I ask for the benefit of signing up for IMWI 2009. Do you think 8:30 ish (9am sign-up) is early enough to secure a spot? If you just show up onsite are you pretty much guaranteed a spot in the field? I would love to volunteer and get preferential treatment, but due to family life getting in the way this is not an option. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I believe the rule is, if you are in-line at 9am, you are guaranteed a slot (at least for now). In the future, that may change based on the number of racers who register pre-race, and the number of volunteers.

You sure you can't squeeze in as a running Marshal on Sun.? They are always looking for help. That way you can get to the preferential line before 9:00 a.m.
