Just wondering if any of you have nail extensions AND swim in salt water pools? I know your not suppose to get either of them wet, but has anyone been able to keep them on while training and which one have you had most success with?

I had ovelays on mine for awhile, but it wrecks your real nails.  My own nails (now that they've recovered) are as hard as rocks, so I just let them grow...but keep them trimmed during tri season...long nails + wetsuit = holes!!!

I have acrylic on my nails (powder that is gelled and then applied on top of my real nail) and have for 8 years. I swim in both saltwater and chlorinated pools and have had zero issues. I go for fill ins every 4 weeks.
